The refurbishment of a delapidated Cornish Coastal Lodge by Wildfire Property Developments was featured on the Channel Five TV show "How To Be A Property Developer". Modelled on a New England beach house, the client wished to achieve a high quality contemporary property which took full advantage of the stunning coastal views.

Behind the scenes, Alpha Planning provided planning advice and support, interpreting planning law to ensure that the client could undertake the works without requiring planning permission and liaising with the Local Planning Authority for confirmation.

Permitted Development Rights were used to full advantage to achieve the numerous design features, which set this property apart, such as the striking oriel window, the contemporary chrome and glazed balcony areas and the exterior treated feather-edged timber cladding. The result is a distinctive, quality home and a win for the Wildfire team on the show.
